python-chemfp software package provides cheminformatics fingerprints file formats and tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-chemfp
python-chemfp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-chemfp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-chemfp *
You will get with python-chemfp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
